We also envision and are working towards an evolving demonstration site of Integral Life in community — an Integral Ecovillage of sorts. An inspirational place to learn about and demonstrate our human potential, putting into practice the changes we wish to see happen in the world. Next Step Integral owns 80 acres of land surrounded by 35 000 acres of wilderness that we have just secured for SIFCo’s Integral Forestry project.
A research project with a central emphasis on practical application. We are addressing body, mind, soul and spirit of the child and looking at how we might approach the first years of life when no ceiling is put on the potential of a human being. Our next Integral Parenting course starts March 14, 2009, on Cortez Island, BC, Canada.
Next Step Integral just opened (November 10th, 2008) our integral pre-school, "The Heart Farm" >>
Integral Ecology »
We are involved in spearheading an Integral Approach to Forestry in the Slocan Valley (British Columbia, Canada). We are helping create the first large-scale integral forestry cooperative (Slocan Integral Forestry Cooperative (SIFCo)) in the world, looking at what it takes for humans and ecosystems to co-exist and interface in an integrally-informed way. SIFCo has secured 35 000 acres of land in British-Columbia Canada. So much to do for the ecology of this planet, next on the list for us is looking at integral food production.
